About

Cita1 is a product of Paicla OÜ

Cita1 is developed and operated by Paicla OÜ, a technology company based in Tallinn (Estonia, European Union). Here we explain what Cita1 is, who we are and how we provide messaging with your customers.

What is Cita1

Cita1 is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service (SaaS) for appointment management, built for small service businesses: hair salons, barbershops, clinics, beauty centers, physiotherapy practices and, in general, any business that works by appointment.

At its core is an artificial intelligence assistant that serves the business's customers over WhatsApp, Telegram and voice calls and manages appointments conversationally, in natural language: it books, reschedules and cancels appointments, calculates their duration, assigns a professional, respects working hours and breaks, sends reminders and reduces no-shows. With the Voice Agent, the business also gets a dedicated phone number answered by the AI.

WhatsApp messaging is provided through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta's official API) and/or Twilio. Each business connects its own channels and Cita1 sends and receives messages on behalf of that business, which owns the relationship with its end customers.

Who we are

Paicla OÜ is a European technology company specializing in cloud infrastructure, automation and artificial intelligence. From Tallinn, we build products that help small businesses work better with reliable, privacy-respecting technology. Cita1 is one of those products.

We operate under European Union law and process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can find the details in our Privacy Policy and in the Terms of Service.

How we use the WhatsApp Business Platform

Cita1 acts as a technology provider: it enables each client business to communicate with its own customers through the WhatsApp Business Platform, Telegram and the voice channel (phone calls). Messages are sent on behalf of the business, which decides what is communicated and retains ownership of its relationship with its end customers.

We comply with the Meta and WhatsApp policies applicable to this platform. We process the personal data exchanged in those conversations as a data processor on behalf of the business, for the purposes, legal basis and retention periods described in our Privacy Policy, where we also explain the third parties involved (Meta/WhatsApp, Twilio, Stripe and Google) and how to exercise your rights, including data deletion.
